Hey Procurement Legend, here is the first of our monthly series: The State of Procurement Tech. I’m tapped into this space, always exploring new tech, seeing who’s doing what, and talking with people using different tech. And I have to say that I’m overwhelmingly optimistic about where Procurement is going. I say that with the knowledge that Procurement Tech is driving procurement forwards more than any other source at this moment in time.

People in the World of Procurement still do not think tech will help them with their work. They also have heightened stress levels when they leave the house without their phone in case they miss another food photo from their friend, Jenny, on Facebook.

Procurement Tech can get a bad reputation for being all about the hype. I see past the hype to look at the tangible benefits.

In our first-ever “State of Procurement”, I will touch on several points.

AI and Intake.

Two of the most exciting areas that could change the world of Procurement or largely be hype. You can decide on that one.
