Recently, people have been writing “hyperbole” on any post I make about AI Agents…I call these people the uninitiated.
They’re holding onto the old world.
This is what
is firmly against.I massively respect Jason and all of the incredible work he has done in Procurement and Supply Chain over the last 20+ years. He’s hit the nail on the head here too.
While AI Procurement Agents promise big changes, they’re still in their infancy, bringing challenges and opportunities. I’d say the opportunity far outweighs the challenges.
The main challenge is - buy or make. I’d encourage you all to start making them and learning the technical skills to do this.
I’m currently playing around with Replit to help me build these.
Luckily, navigating this shift is far more simple if you prepare now - your also get a significant jump start on the people operating around you.
And unlike ignoring the rise of AI, which risks leaving jobs and industries behind, adapting early gives you the edge to thrive.
