Procurement Legend,
How are you?
My last few weeks have been an absolute whirlwind, so my usual schedule has revolted against me. Couple with my naivety and overly optimistic view of how much I can get done, but we shall return to our regularly scheduled show next week.
In short, this is what Wednesday’s email should have been.
Some things I wanted to share with you.
VCLM
I just spent a few days in Croatia with the entire Gatekeeper team as we launched and strategised further over our new category, VCLM, which is Vendor and Contract Lifecycle Management.
Check out my post on this here on LinkedIn, where I dive into this.
In short, this is what I’ve been working on for the last 14 months.
Digital Procurement World (DPW)
I’m spending a lot of my time prepping to be on the Gatekeeper booth at DPW in a few weeks’ time.
I’m also going to be asking people at the event two questions if they wish to be featured on the Procurement Reimagined Podcast:
Explain what you do as though I’m a five-year-old.
What is one part of Procurement you would reimagine and why?
I cannot wait to feel the digital procurement energy. There are some many incredible procurement tech providers going. If you’re not clued up on digital procurement then DPW should be your first point of call.
I’m also extremely excited to hear more about Dr. Elouise Epstein’s new book that is being launched at the event.
Her first book, Trade wars, pandemics, and chaos: How digital procurement enables business success in a disordered world features on my must read list of procurement books. I’m hoping I’ll be able to nab a copy whilst I’m there of her new one.
PS. I’ll be trying to get two fuller episodes recorded with
the legend behind and Karthik Rama - Procurement Doctor. Please let me know in the comments if you will be there.

See you next week for our regularly scheduled show.
